As a seamstress, I provide alterations which include custom fitting, redesigning and re-sizing wedding gowns and formal attire. There is nothing quite like wearing a dress that fits. Be assured, you will look and feel beautiful on your special day!

The following is an outline of what you can expect at Fit2bwed.

Wedding Gowns

• 1st Fitting: Your gown will be pin-fitted.  This is when the hem and bustle are pinned. You will need to bring your shoes and bridal undergarments to this fitting. 
• 2nd Fitting: At this fitting your gown has been stitched and the bustle marked.  Nothing has been cut.  Any necessary fine-tuning is done at this point. 
• Final Fitting: Your gown is now done.  You will need to bring someone from your bridal party to this fitting.  She will be taught how to bustle your dress. Payment for services is due at this time. 
• Gown Pick-up: Most brides schedule this for the day prior to the wedding.  Your gown will be pressed/steamed for pick-up.
  

Bridal Party and Prom Dresses
(This includes Mothers of the bride/groom and flower girls)

• 1st Fitting: Your gown will be pin-fitted.  This is when the hem is pinned.
  You will need to bring your shoes and any gown undergarments to this fitting. 
• 2nd Fitting: This fitting is only necessary if the dress requires extensive alterations. 
  
• Gown Pick-up: This will also be your final fitting to ensure the fit.  Your gown will have been pressed/steamed prior to pick-up.  Payment for services is due at this time. 
  Prices

Estimates are given upon request at the 1st fitting.  This is due to the variance in style and detail from one gown to another.  Most bridal gown alterations cost between $325-$375, this includes the final press/steam.
